Synopsis

Wollach died young, leaving a legacy of urban myth, madness, and mystery around her eccentric personality. The film is based on seven tapes of interviews granted by Wollach before her death, in which she speaks of madness, drugs, encounters with God, and the dangers of writing. The film won Best Documentary of 2012 as well as Best Soundtrack in the documentary film competition of 2012. It premiered at the 2012 Jerusalem Film Festival. The film is part of the documentary project: THE HEBREWS, documenting Hebrew culture with the best of Israeli directors, each focusing of the life and work of a major Hebrew literary poet of writer.
