March 2020. COVID-19 is at its peak; its victims are many. Europe is in lockdown, Israel follows suit. The ultra-Orthodox Sasson family live in a tiny apartment in Safed and find themselves in unchartered territory – the father, Gili, has tested positive, and has infected his wife and a few of their children. The film follows him and his family in the daily challenges of life with the virus and the limitations it dictates. The new imposed reality threatens Gili’s core values, testing his relationship, his family, his faith, and most importantly – the continuation of life itself.
