Women in Sink
Synopsis
At a little Arab hair salon in Haifa, the director installs a mini film set over the
washing basin. Both Palestinian and Jewish women frequent the salon and the
director chats with them, while shampooing their hair, about politics and love.
What emerges from these conversations is an honest and nuanced portrayal of
contemporary Israel.
