Synopsis

In 1956, on the threshold of a major environmental turning point, three visionary photographers abandoned their daily lives to document the Hula wetlands before they were drained forever. Risking everything, they spent a year immersed in the marshlands, capturing the vibrant wildlife and raw beauty of a landscape on the brink of disappearance. Their rediscovered 16mm color footage offers a breathtaking glimpse into a lost world. This cinematic journey is more than a historical record; it is a hauntingly beautiful tribute to a vanished paradise and a timeless reflection on the delicate, often fractured relationship between humanity and the natural world.
