Synopsis

During a single harrowing day along Israel’s border with Gaza, October 7^th, 2023, Dr. Gedalya Fendel rescues civilian families and shelters them in his home with his wife and children. A set of grandparents, a pregnant couple, and two children whose parents were murdered are brought to safety inside the house as violence unfolds outside. Hours stretch as fear, uncertainty, and the sounds of the attack surround them. In the lowest moment of their lives, strangers cling to one another, sharing food, silence, and the fragile act of waiting. What begins as refuge slowly becomes something deeper. In the aftermath of terror, these families emerge bound together, forever, discovering hope where it once seemed impossible.
