Synopsis

The film depicts Ronit's personal journey 10 years after she had met her biological mother in Paris, in an attempt to find ways to maintain a meaningful relationship with the woman who had come to Israel from Paris in 1956, gave birth to her and gave her up for adoption. In a series of encounters with adoptees and their biological mothers, Ronit sets out to check the meaning of blood relationships, shattering many myths associated with adoption. Ronit discovers that her protagonists deal, like her, with problems of identity, loss and pain, which continue to trouble them even years after being reunited.
