I Cried in Gaza
Synopsis
Since October 7th, Israeli women have been deployed to the front lines on an unprecedented scale for the first time since 1948. This historic shift carries a staggering cost: of the thousands of soldiers seeking mental health treatment, over 4,000 are women. This groundbreaking documentary offers a never-before-seen look at this emerging crisis, plunging into the harrowing, fresh memories of seven female combatants. From Gaza to Lebanon, these soldiers reveal the raw intersection of duty and trauma, exposing the invisible psychological toll on a new generation of female veterans.
