Home Front
Synopsis
A personal, intimate diary created by combat reservist Noam Sobovitz and his director wife, Hila Salomon, captures the shattering rift between home and the war front since October 7th across hundreds of days of duty. Moving between tense battle scenes in Lebanon, Noam’s remote therapy sessions for resurfacing trauma, and Hila’s struggle to balance a difficult pregnancy with caring for her dying father, the film reveals a world few truly see.
Through their story of tender love under fire, the film opens a rare window into the lives of thousands of reservists and their families, where love and duty intertwine, guilt and humor coexist, and resilience quietly holds everything together.
