Synopsis

Safa Alayan, 23, dreams of a world where everything is green. She grew up in East Jerusalem and it always bothered her that in her neighborhood, like in the other Palestinian neighborhoods, there are no trees, no parks, no recycling bins. Instead, sewage runs freely in the open and environmental hazards dot the landscape. Safa knows the environment can’t wait for a political solution and decides to take action.
