A Bird’s Wish
Synopsis
This Israeli Academy Award–winning short film follows a bird whose deepest dream is to become a mother. She longs to lay an egg, but while the branches around her fill with the chirping of newborn chicks, her own nest remains painfully empty. As she embarks on a journey of medical tests and fertility treatments, she is drawn into a physically and emotionally grueling process, where her longing for motherhood is pushed to its very limits
