A Hero’s Burden
Synopsis
Daniel and Neriya become unlikely heroes after saving hundreds of lives during the October 7th Music Festival attack, thrust into the public eye as national heroes. Yet beneath the praise lies a far more private battle with mental health, crippling PTSD, survivor’s guilt, and uncertainty surrounding their best friend, Yosef, who was taken hostage that day. As the world celebrates their courage, the brothers struggle to reconcile their heroism with the cost of survival.
A Hero’s Burden captures the psychological aftermath of trauma and its strain on brotherhood, faith, and identity as the young men search for healing in the shadow of war.
