Uzzi
Synopsis
Prof. Uzzi Ornan, at the age of 94, remains optimistic about the radical possibility of establishing in Israel, the civil state he dreamed of.
He embarks on his last struggle against the religious establishment, demanding a secular burial place for him and the rest of the residents, in the place where he lives.
The slow clock hands of the bureaucratic mechanisms are not moving in pace with the approaching end of his life.
It seems that the success of his private struggle will be a significant milestone in his lifelong attempt to lead a revolution in the identity of the State of Israel.
