SHALOM: The Peace
Synopsis
A new documentary is on its way to showcasing the status of the dwindling number of Jews in the Indian city of Kolkata through the eyes of the youngest member of the community. The documentary captures the spirit of the Jewish Community in the City of Joy through the eyes of Shalom Israel, caretaker of the Jewish cemetery and one of the youngest of the now remaining 26 Jews of the city.
