Operation Avinatan
Synopsis
Abducted from the Nova music festival on October 7 and separated from his girlfriend, Noa Argamani, engineer Avinatan Or endured 738 grueling days in Hamas’s dark underground tunnels. Refusing to become a prisoner in his own mind, he weaponized his technical skills, patience, and a stolen pickaxe to mount a clandestine solo escape operation—secretly mapping tunnels and building electrical wiring over 187 days. In an intimate first-person television interview with Ilana Dayan, Avinatan reveals his gripping fight for survival, offering a deeply human portrait of defiance, faith, and the enduring power of choice in the darkest places on Earth.
