Happy Purim
Synopsis
Purim is the happiest day in the Jewish calendar. The film goes to the heart of the spirit of the festival: the injunction to have fun and revel is carried to full measure (and includes some good drinking tips). Ultra-Orthodox Jews are famously as strict about observing the rules of their faith as they are defiant to modernity, yet for this film they let the cameras explore their celebration with enthusiasm.
