  • We were unanimously moved and impressed by Maya Tiberman and Kineret Hay-Gillor's Alone Together...We feel it is important to tell stories of people like Ravit who truly give of themselves and make a small corner of the world a better place. Tiberman and Hay-Gillor created an incredibly intimate portrait of Ravit, her desires and her struggles. Their devotion to their subject, the close bond they clearly formed with her, and the overall strength of their filmmaking was evident in the end result of this film. We are very happy to present them both with the David Stein Award at the 2021 TJFF.

  • It is impossible to be left unmoved by this tender, honest and beautifully rendered portrait of an amazing woman. One of the best documentaries of the year.
