Synopsis
Reli, a disabled young woman, relies completely on Susanna, her foreign caregiver, for every action and movement. Their dependence has blossomed into an intimate, unbreakable bond. When Susanna announces she must return home, the news shakes Reli to her core. Unable to turn their pain into anger, the two women set off across Israel in Reli’s van, heading toward the Arava desert. The road trip culminates at the site where Reli’s accident occurred twelve years prior. Surrounded by the landscape that reshaped Reli’s life, they reach the pinnacle of their connection, finally finding the courage to accept their impending, bittersweet separation.
