Synopsis

A German aristocratic family grapples with their complex role during the Holocaust. Wendi, the strong-willed matriarch, inherited a farm from her uncle, Hitler’s first foreign minister, and used her privileged position to save Jews from a concentration camp that was erected on their land. We follow three generations of women as they seek to reconcile their family’s complicated legacy while wrestling with themes of guilt, redemption, and fractured relationships.
